Tricky fob programming
Hello,
I'm trying to pair my 2000 S-type with a fob, I've got a mongoose with SDD/IDS.
Everything seems fine I've erased the olders fobs, programmed a new one, when I test it IDS say that it is already paired with the car and that all butons are OK.
But after it doesn't work the car doesn't react to the fob orders.
I've retest it with mongoose the fob is programmed without any problem.
It's the old 3 buttons type fob which is separate of the jag/ford key.
Does anyone have already experienced this?

Is the fob aftermarket or genuine jaguar. I had no luck with aftermarket. Genuine jaguar worked first time. I think on your year there is a way to do it using the turn signal stalk.try this

It's a jag' original fob, I've ordered another one to test.
I will try the turn signal stalk thing but looking at the vidéo it seems it's for a mk2 car, mine is mk1.
