How did Jaguar finally resolve the DPF problem in the UK?

It's not resolved. Every few weeks or so another person posts about their destroyed engine / engine runaway.

I think it might be mostly covered up on the (XF etc) 3.0D as an oil level sensor is fitted and that will sometimes pick up the level rise caused by the diesel getting in to the sump.
