I think I'm digging the chrome headlight rings...I wasn't sure if I'd like them or not...

Hey edra............nice ride buddy.
Re the chrome headlight rings? I'm not the biggest fan of chrome, however, with your chrome inserts and chrome mesh grille surround it fits in nicely....doesn't seem too much at all.
What the hell is that you have above your side repeaters though?

sempaipaul - The exhaust is a flowmaster exhaust. I had the complete exhaust done. From the cat's, (its a true dual btw) I have 2 1/2 inch piping going into the resonators (I first had the resonators out, but it was very, very, very loud, so I got them put back on and it helped out) then from the resonators it goes into more 2 1/2 piping till it reaches the mufflers which are flowmaster 10 series single chamber race mufflers. They are quite small actually, but have a very aggressive sound to them, this car sounds so beasty. To top it off, they enter the 4 inch angle cut tips. Also with the intake I bought from ebay, Im sure I added quite a little bit of extra horse power.

JimC64 - On the side of the car I added port holes. They are just stick on, but look nice.

Here is a quick list of the things I added this baby:

- mesh grille insert
- chrome rings on headlights
- chrome trim on tail lights
- tinted windows all the way around
- pillar posts
- port holes
- air intake
- flowmaster exhaust
- l.e.d. bulbs for license plate
- upgraded HID lights to 8000k (my headlights look even more blue now)
- painted calipers red

So far thats it, all this thing needs is some 18's and its good to go.

Nice whip!!! I like what you did here. The fender vents aren't really my cup of tea but I like what you did with the head/ tail lights. See Jimc64, doesn't look ghetto does it? A lil chrome isn't bad. Were you able to install the rings on your own. Do you have to take the lamps out or do they just stick on?

There is no removing necessary. The rings just stick right on, its simple.

Def get the mirrors to match the mirror. I personally do not like the chrome pillar on cars with tint...I think the stock black pillar with blackish tint blends in...Yet if you're going to do chrome, do everything besides the glass in chrome, eg the mirrors...

You seem like you like the bling, might as well just get chrome 20s now. Rather then getting 18s and regretting it. I have a pic, prob on page 2 of my cat on 20s with limo tint. No matter what kind of rims of you get, even if you keep stock, get ceramic brake pads if you don't already have them. Ceramics only dust 25% as much and have a silver/grey dust which doesn't bond to your wheels. Making them almost dust free.

I just got new brake pads, I was told the ceramic arent too lastly and a bit more costly, but If needed, I will get them. I cant do the 20's, I would prefer a better drive than large wheels because 20's will be just too big.

That's not accurate. More expensive? Depends on the brand, I found ceramics cheaper than metallics. Usually ceramics are a bit more abrasive and shorten the life of your rotors. However if you do the math, you're probably only going to have to change the rotors one more time in the jags life vs metallics.

I got the chrome grille inserts already. How much did the chrome headlight rings set you back? If you don't mind me asking?

The chrome rings came with the tail light covers, ran about $50 with shipping. Check on ebay and type in "jaguar trim s type"
If anyone else wants to know how I got anything and how much, ask and Ill be glad to let you know.
