VVT Solenoid Seals
Have an annoying leak on my VVT solenoid seals which drips onto something hot - stinks. I read a post on XK8 4.2 that they can be changed without removing the valve cover. Is this true for a 4.0 S-Type also? Is there a non Jaguar part that will fit?

On the 4.0 - no. You have to remove the cam cover.
