Water shorting coil on #7 cyl
My '01 4ltr S-Type as suddenly started to develope probs with water in the coil on #7 cyl. It was suggested that I have a valve gasket prob. I have checked and re checked the coolant level but there seems to be no coolant level change. When the coil is cleaned and replaced the car runs great for about 25 miles before it starts missing again.
Question:
1. Is there any other way that water could be getting in there other than a valve cover gasket?
2. Does this vehicle have a crank case breather and if so could this be the cause of the prob?
3. Any other suggestions please?

Yeah I did and found it most interesting thanx. I was also told about a possible blocked Crankcase breather. Havn't had much rain in Elizabeth City, NC as of late and I missed Hurricane Earl altogether. Just moved to Kansas City arrived yesterday chugging all the way down.
25 miles is so short that it must be something else - or are you saying there's water in the plug well so soon? There definitely should not be!! (If there is, that's the fault you need to fix.)
