been working on a few issues with my 02 stype at a friends home and found that my battery was completely dead today. i wanted to check on a few affordable battery prices.thanks

 

My first one was $140.00 quote a few years ago. My second was $180.00 from O'Reilly's just a couple months ago.

Make sure you get the correct battery for the vehicle, it must have a vent tube that is ran out the bottom of the trunk!

 

 

Pep Boys typically runs battery sales each month. You will find the deals and coupons on their website. Using their battery deal last week, I replaced the nearly 8-year-old battery in my 1999 Dodge Ram last Thursday. The new battery retailed for $130. After taking advantage of their deal and using a $15 gift card they sent me in the mail a few weeks ago, my final price was $82. I would start with Pep Boys and also check with Advance Auto Parts, CARQUEST Auto Parts, Autozone, NAPA, etc. Make sure you get a battery that was built no more than a couple of months ago. The month and date is usually printed on a sticker that is applied to the side of the battery casing before it leaves the factory....

battery make and number etc would help me to search for the best price i can find if anyone has that info. i remember seeing in a former post a battery mentioned that was running in the $90.00 range ,i wish that i wrote that down but wasnt thinking i needed a battery at that point,also it may have been an older post lol.

 

Your car was fitted with H8 when new.

Jaguar recommended batteries in 2002.
