I am considering purchasing a 2004 s-type 3.0 with 18,000 miles. I know that in the earlier years the s-types have had problems with the transmissions and other things so I was wondering if anyone knows what I should pay special attention to when inspecting this particular car. I have already noticed that the power adjustable pedals do not work. The motor sounds like it is working but the pedals do not move at all. Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
