Default what is your Jag worth?

After replacing water pump, thermostat, coils, spark plugs, timing chain tentioners and upper radiator hose I decided to sell this kitty. Will get new tires this thursday and she is going up for sale.
I was looking around today to see how much they are worth in my area and the price seems to fluctuate too much. I have seen same year as mine listed for as much as 9999 and as low as 6000 they both claim car is in good shape.
I'm a bit lost now with the price. How much would you guys pay or think would be fair price to list for. I would like to sell it by June.
2001 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 with 82,6XX. Has parking sensors, cd changer and list goes on. No navigation.

What does kbb.com show after you run the specific calculations for your car?

S-Type value can be difficult to assess. Demand is quite low due to the continuing perception that Jaguar equals unreliability and few people do enough research to understand how good these cars can be as long as you are willing to DIY most maintenance and repairs. Some geographical markets do better than others (California and Florida appear to be the best locations for selling S-Types). And unfortunately for you, most folks interested in S-Types prefer the 2003-and-newer models due to the engine and drivetrain improvements....

IMO, jagv8 makes a valid point. You'll likely not be happy with what others would offer for your pretty and soon to be rare kitty. Keep her and/or trade her in for an STR?

One of the reasons I want to sell it is to make room for STR.

Whatever the perceived value is, the demand isn't there...Many people have difficulty selling their 03 STR for $10K. On ebay, there's an 06 STR v/Nav and 60K miles with Buy it now price of $14750 & has an make an offer option that I'm sure they'll knock even more off...

The closer you put to $9999 the lower you need to set your expectations...Another option is to find a dealer that's selling a STR and work out a trade in...
