I leave the sensor in place and just unplug it as in your last picture.

All the wheel bearings I have purchased have been complete including the ABS sensor. For my 2005 STR the Timken front hubs are about $120 each.

I believe if the hub is OEM the speed sensor is held in place with a bolt. Just unbolt (leave harness in place) and the speed sensor pulls right out. if aftermarket - it may be a bolt, T-bolt or a metal clamp.

Same deal - loosen/unclamp and pull the sensor out of the housing.

Dust is OK - anything wet or metal flakes on the sensor (magnet) is a precursor to bigger issues. I also responded to your PM a few minutes ago.

The Lincoln LS had some passive rear wheel steering built in as their rear tie rods had some additional "play" in them. But all the aftermarket ones do not have this feature. So you can use the Lincoln part and they are on EBay.

It very common to have those boots go bad. Look at your upper control arms front and back and they are most likely busted also. Along with your front and rear sway bar end link bushings.

I only replace them when they make noise or get loose. If you can feel some looseness then I would plan on changing them.

It can get very confusing between the terms used to explain parts. In my picture of that boot gone bad, it really is not considered a tie rod from what I find but a control arm link. Here is a pic of what I need on rock auto. Could not find the part listed for the Lincoln though. I am guessing refer to the same year for the LS. Would Lincoln call it something different?

It looks like Rock Auto does not carry the rear tie rods for the Lincoln LS anymore? Yes I have seen both terms and they are used the same.

Yes the Lincoln part looks the same.
