Where can I download JTIS for free? / S-Type frt. suspension torques?
I saw the other threads regarding JTIS, but frankly, I don't understand what is written there.
So, can I download somewhere all the technical Jaguar information, called "JTIS"?
Currently I am after the correct torques around the S-Type 2004 front suspension (upper/lower ball joint, ball joint tie rod. those 2 bolts at the back of the upper wishbone, and the 4 bolts holding the hub to the vertical link.)
I have found those torques already - from 2 different sources - and they contradict each other...
Thanks, Peter

Here is a link to the X202/206 Workshop Manual:

@ NBCat: Thank you, This answers all my torque questions - the answers are in your link on page 112. Is you link that "famous" JTIS, or is JTIS still another document?
And if someone has a similar link (JTIS or JTIS like) also for X-Type, XJ8 and XJS ('90 and '78), that would also be great. Thank you, Peter
PS: I edited/added this note here afterwards for those, who are also looking for the torques: You need to look at page 112 in combination with page 113, which is a diagram telling you the names of all the components around the frt. suspension. It took me a few minutes to figure it this out, because I knew P/N C2C25788 / C2C25789 as "vertical link", but the workshop manual calls it "wheel knuckle".

You can download JTIS from the link but if you find it awkward there are probably copies on well-known auction sites for a small payment.
It covers those other cars too. Er, maybe not the really old cars (I didn't look).

@Peter_of_Australia, JTIS is not the PDF in the Dropbox link. JTIS is available, but it can be a challenge to get it to work on some later computers. The best thing is to find PDFs of the Workshop Manuals for the models you requested above.

@ NBCat: OK, thank you.
@ scottjh9: Thanks, I tried those 2 links, but I am getting only a grey and white split-screen with a white thing turning for a while, before it ends in "white nothing".

@scottjh9: Thanks that worked. I can download them both. One is the same "S-Type 2002.5 - 2008 work shop manual" as in the link from NBCat above, the other one is different, which might come in handy as well, as it is for "S-Type 2004 - 2008". Cheers, Peter
glad to help. The newer one is easier to navigate i feel
You need to give far more info about what you're using/doing e.g. which OS? which device?
