All of them need the Timmking chain tensioners replaced. Not a cheap or easy job.

I would move on to the 2003 and up S Types. The 4.0L had too many problems.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a searchable database of wrecking yards.

Good 4.0 engine are becoming far and few between.
Typically you get what you pay for when you purchase a used engine. The lower the mileage the more you pay. The higher the mileage you pay less, but the greater the risk is will break and waste all your time and money putting it in. I personally wouldn't purchase an engine with over 80K miles on it unless I was planning on some sort of a rebuild. As others have posted, the 4.0 engines had lots of problems. Mainly the timing chain head tensioners. It is also very difficult to get any maintenance history for the engine. Was the oil changed, were all the required services done? Either you luck out, or find out a year or 2 later, you purchased a lemon engine.

I purchased a 2003 STR engine off of E-bay a month ago with 75K miles on it. I have already spent over $1K on replacement parts hoping that the engine wont fail after I put it in. I just hope the engine wasn't ran too hard during its life.
