Your vehicle is fitted with the ZF 6HP26 gearbox. Here is a link to the information on overhaul and servicing the unit:

At that time, the racing cars used manual gearboxes, however, I have repaired automatic ZF gearboxes for friends with German cars if that is the meaning of your question.
