Wiper Blade Refill Guide

>they fit perfectly to that wiper/washer jet adapter on our S-type's.
I just wanted to confirm that. I got them from Amazon, mounted them yesterday, and survives a biblical rain storm with them today.
The spray nozzle fit right in place.
These are the correct ones for S-Types with the integrated wiper spray nozzle.

Seems to be a PIAA pissing match - so I will add my 2˘ worth.
I purchased the original PIAA set over 6 years ago and don't recall what they were called, but they have an air spoiler/dam which helps in the removal of ice and snow at high speeds. I have put sets on my wife, step-daughter, father-in-law (4 different vehicles) and other related vehicles. Perhaps 10 different vehicles. My story is equal to all except for my wife's BWM, which eat blades worse than any vehicle I have ever experienced and PIAA's are no longer available for that piece of 'expletive" she insists on driving. Most expensive single maintenance part of her car in my opinion.
I kept thinking that they would fail, but they did not. Remained silent and efficient. Did have one sand sized streak failure, but running my fingernail across the blade cured that situation temporarily. I have used Bosch ION blades, which were also wonderful, but do not have the life span that my PIAA's have shown.
In August, partially out of guilt, I decided to replace the Jag's. The original version I purchased were no longer available as a complete blade, but as refills. They were $13.06 and $11.18 from amazon. Replacement took all of about 5 minutes total.

In another threadsurrection, I saw that Trico 3397007654 has the nozzles and supposedly fits right on-fits Audis also. Anyone tried this one yet?

Getting ready for my 2005 S-Type 3.0's annual safety inspection, so I replaced the wiper blade refills this morning. Manufacturers sometimes change their design specs and even their blade width, so you may find that certain refills which have always fit your particular blade holders no longer do so. In my neck of the woods, that has been the case with some of the NAPA refills I have purchased within the past couple of years for several of our vehicles....
Good to know that these two refills from my local CARQUEST Auto Parts store still fit my car's original blade holders:
- Drivers side: Trico 24-inch refill with 6mm claw width. Part no. 45-240.
- Passengers side: Trico 19-inch refill with 6mm claw width. Part no. 45-190.
I paid about $12 for the pair. They typically last me a full year, especially if I clean them with an alcohol rub a couple of times during the year....

It seems that now it is not easy to find only blades, but most sellers and manufacturers sell a whole set of windshield wipers. Although this is a little more expensive, it saves you a lot of troubles, e.g., spending time searching for blades to pair with wipers. A whole set of best wiper blades is easier to install too; this is because they are designed with easy installation system.
