Question: Can an 09 XF ZF 6HP26 transmission be installed in an 03 STR?
Externally they look the same. Is there only programming differences? Harness connector differences? Different internal electronics/valving?

I have not been able to find much on the forum regarding compatibility of this transmission between model years and models.

If I had to take a stab at this - I believe there are differences after 2007 MY (Could be wrong though)

To be safe I would look for a trans between 03 MY and 06 MY
