So, been a bit of an adventure the last couple of months. My previously purchased 2012 Rhodium Silver XK Convertible was totaled 8 weeks ago. There were no injuries and a single car accident, Mrs. Tampamark was shook up (she was the sole occupant) but otherwise fine. The car, not so much. Jaguar vs center median equals a completely ruined under-chassis and bottom of motor. It was a total loss...
So, I searched and found my replacement, it is a 2012 White with Tan CPO car. I had my Rhodium Silver car detailed, paint corrected, and Opti-Coated by my go-to detailer, then the windows tinted. So after purchasing this White XK I put it through the same process, detail/correction/seal/tint.
One benefit is that I decided to give the WMA1000 bluetooth streaming Ipod connector a second try for my Wife's Iphone. The previous car would play for one second, then pause, a known problem. I know it works on some and not on others, we hit the jackpot, it works fine on this car.
No harm, no foul, we are back in the Jaguar world:

Great color combination, that looks very classy and pure. I am sure your wife will love the ride and get plenty of compliments on this pure luxury, yet sports car ride.
I loved the Rhodium Silver, my Wife prefers the White. I really wanted a Red one for sale down in Sarasota, but it was year newer and they wanted $10k more for that one, I didn't love it that much....
The tan/white has grown on me. It has gotten several compliments, maybe a coincidence I don't know, but definitely more than the silver XK.
Speaking of the iPod connection, I got a Bluetooth connector so I can stream the music without having to plug in the phone. It usually plays for a second then stops. It'll do it over and over. But if I turn off the radio at the dash and turn it on again and then press the play button on the car's audio screen it plays just fine.
Hi Danny, yeah that was my experience. But no amount of pressing different buttons, turning the system on and off, using the Jaguar screen or the Iphone screen would it play more than one second on the Silver XK. I ended up returning the Tune2Air for full refund. However, on that same previous vehicle it would work fine with the Ipad Air2??? That did not good, we needed it to work on the Wife's Iphone.
Same Iphone, all works great on this new Jag. I have read story after story with the folks who suffer from the un-fixable one second pause, including updating software in the car, the phone, etc. All to no avail. In the previous car I just used an RF Transmitter with a general Bluetooth Streaming device, she just uses it to stream over audiobooks so quality is not paramount.
I didn't realize sometimes that problem is not fixable. I now feel very fortunate I can get my iPhone to stream in my car! Streaming music is pretty important to me. It's really the only way I listen to music anymore.
