I posted about a coolant leak a couple of days ago, and on further inspection, it appears the leak is from the 'Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Water Outlet'. It is quite severe and spurts out while the engine is running and continues to do so for a minute or so after the engine is stopped. I can hear a little electric motor running after the engine is stopped, it feels like it's inside the coolant expansion tank and as soon as this stops the leak stops.

The leak is coming from the tip of the white arrow in the picture and it becomes worse if I push down on the pipe show by the red arrow. Is this a serviceable part or will it require a replacement part? If the thermostat is in there, then surely you should be able to get in there?

I've managed to disconnect all the pipes and electrical connectors from the front of the Throttle Body which sits on top of the coolant outlet and can lift it slightly to inspect the leak, but I can't work out how to remove the throttle body at the 'Y' end.

It looks like bonded plastic . therefore cracked .
I'd say you need a new coolant outlet !
As you can see below the thermostat housing on the diesel that you are looking at is listed as well as another seprate thermostat and housing , may be the outlet does not contain the thermostat , Also looks like the other thermostat housing is sealed as well . Thay both do not look serviceable to me !
