My door mirrors are quite loose in the adjustments links and do therefore move at speed and bumps.
Do you know, if they can be disassembled and rebuild with some new bushings ?
I can make new internal parts for the link, the question is therefore mainly if disassembly is possible with breaking parts ?
Would anybody know the Jaguar part numbers for a replacement mirror ?
I doubt that the parts are available. Normally with such things have a round spring-type collar that holds the mirror against its stop. All you can do is unscrew it (the nuts are captive on the door) and see what is what. There is always a way of fixing something, but it might be a case of destroying the old crimped=in fixing and replacing it with something else that does the job.

It was surely not rocket science !
After removing the mirror, which was easy, the rear was exposed: A nice little adjustable springload for the mirror to make it able to move if hit.
Parts are now cleaned, waxed and spring load is tigthenened 3 turns
