Default Passenger side noise SOLVED!

I've been battling this noise from the passenger side of my car when going over bumps for some time now. The noise would range from squeaks to clanky sounds. Initially I thought it was from outside the car. Was able to replicate by tapping the glovebox with my fist. There appears to be excessive clearance between the rubber bumper on the glovebox door and where it meets the dash. I gently pulled on the bumper and it comes straight out. I then added a 5/32" neoprene washer from the hardware store on both bumpers to take up the slop that was causing the noise. I had to use a tiny screwdriver to push the bumper back into place.

Hard to see because everything is black, but I added a 5/32" neoprene washer between the bumper pad and the glovebox door.

Default this is me

Yes! I seem to have the same issue. The squeaking noise is maddening! The 2012 or later XF cabins are so freaking quiet that this noise gets amplified and every single little sharp turn or bump and this squeaking sound penetrates my ears.

It doesn't bother me much when I am by myself due to that I am blasting rap or edm as I drive but if I have a passenger its just awkward, I will give this a try!

Some days I just want a quiet ride the only thing I wanna hear is the noise of the engine. Whatever that noise its like something is loose in the car or some stuff moving. This noise is quite annoying. It forces me to play some music.
