Default Fuel line couplers

Is there a special tool for this specific to Jag? How do this things come apart?

I have attached a document showing all of the fuel connectors and how they are released. Only one type requires a special tool. It is shown on page 5. All of the others are hand removal or using a screwdriver. Good luck with your repairs.

Nice work

This is the line disconnect tool kit I got from pep boys for disconnecting the fuel rail.

Paul's kit is OEM brand 25182. You'll need the red one (5/16") for the fuel filter, too.


Pick up the set, about $30 in a store.
