Default Finally got all the mods done: blower, meth, nitrous...

Ok guys - after way too long, it's all done, can I get an Amen?

Here's the rundown:

1) Got the blower and snout all ported out
2) Gutted oem cats - prob eventually get a proper set of velocity downpipes - but damn the bills were getting high!
3) Methanol injection
4) Nitrous wet shot - 70 shot, progressive
5) Custom retune from PowerHaus Performance

Disclaimer: All pulls are corrected numbers on a Mustang Dyno "the heart breaker" - haha...

To give you an idea of what I mean and add some context to the numbers, the car was making about 475rwhp when it went 11.44 @ 124

Added the lower crank pulley and it made:
485rwhp / 437rwtq

Ported Blower, cats, meth inj and replaced vmax tune with custom tune:
521rwhp / 481rwtq - hot car after many pulls. When the car was totally cooled off, the same setup made:
540rwhp / 504rwtq!!

Add in a 70 shot
589rwhp / 569rwtq - again these are "hot" numbers. I'd guess if we were to hit the car on kill right out of the gate, it'd put about 610 to the tires and almost 600 ft lbs of torque. On a dynojet...who knows - probably 670ish.

You can also see the power curve is much better with a new tune on it vs. the vmax tune.

Should be at the track in the next week, wish me luck.
Jay

The huge bump in low end torque makes it look like your tuner was able to adjust the torque management limitations in the stock tune. Is that the case?
Congrats on making the effort, and on the great results. Hope it bears fruit at the track.
Good luck!

Amen and nice work! That's easily over 700bhp with the 70 shot using a 17% drive train loss, bet you'd see even higher numbers on a friendly dynojet research dyno haha.

Looking forward to you being the first f-type in the 10s now.

There it is! Someone finally went all in on this motor! Very interested to see the numbers at the track.

And hope the rest of the drivetrain (specifically the rear end) can take it. I sheared a half shaft with mine at the track so I'm a bit gun shy now with full drag starts on a prepped surface.

I think you said your tune was for meth only for cooling right?

Ha, yeah, I hope the rest of the drivetrain can take it too! Fingers crossed, it still has a warranty shhhhhh

But yes, the methanol is purely just for cooling, we didn't add a more aggressive tune around it. So basically the entire thing can fail and the car won't (shouldn't) detonate under WOT

You don't think they will notice the pulleys, OR all the extra plumbing under the hood? I'd say your warranty on anything driveline related is absolutely toast!

Nice run(s) last night Jay. I see your 2nd pass was at 10.88 at 128.59. Keep up the good work and see where u get that beast once fully dialed in.

I note you say 485WHP with lower pulley, did you run the lower pulley at first without a tune then buddy?
