Hi all
Well I've done it, stopped thinking about it and gone out and bought an XK8 convertible. My wife said I was looking a bit stupid with my head sticking out the roof of my TBar MR2 Turbo, so Jag time had arrived. It's my least favourite colour (BRG) but it was local, the right price and reasonable mileage, so I'm in. Already shelled out for a set of 18" alloys. I have a number of modifications on the cards so watch this space.

Nothing to see here really. It's clean and tidy but very standard. I've already ordered a set of 18" BBS style alloys to tide me over. I'll see how it copes with touring in the South of France with wife dog and myself next summer. If it behaves itself. (The MR2 has been faultless) then many modifications are on the cards. Watch this space.

Good grief! What is the man saying? It's a Jaguar XK8!
Congratulations on your new baby and enjoy!
Mike
But it's standard, as it left the factory. Such a situation cannot be allowed to remain. Modify modify modify, and if that doesn't do it, modify some more. My XK8 is a blank canvas, it will one day be outstanding. (Sorry purists)
That looks like a '95, that version of the MR2 was my favorite. Mine was deep blue with T-Tops and black interior. I really loved that car.
It's a 91 rev 3 (It's a T top too with vinyl covered panels) and I love it to bits. I've decided to keep it as well as the Jag, because the Jag is a lovely car to drive, but the Toyota is a drivers car. So what? A man can never have too many cars.
