New Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S news
Michelin is releasing a new tire model soon called the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S.
It will be available in a size for the F-Type R 295/30ZR20/XL
...for an MSRP of $403! Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S Tires | Michelin USA
This tire better be damn good for that amount of money, that's way more than the PSS, right?
Anyone know the street date for these?

A year and a half ago the list price on the 295/30-20 PSS was $396. Tire Rack was selling them at that time for $326. Their price has come down as they clear the inventory in advance of the 4S.
Well the silver lining is the price of the MPSS - my local Discount Tire charged me $266 for the front and $299 for the rear...which worked out cheaper than TireRack after counting shipping etc...I figured go for it as I knew the tires and there wasn't clear indication if Michelin would roll out all the sizes at once...

Can't wait for the P Zeroes to wear out. I don't daily drive it so when I do it takes a few minutes to get rid of the "square tire" feel. I had the same issue with the P Zeroes on the F430. I have Michelin on my Z06 and my Avalanche and never get the "square tire" feel.
what the hell is the "square tire"....lol...do you mean tht because your car has been sitting for a long time, that it develops a flat spot on the tires? That would take a loooong time of no movement...i have parked a the airport for weeks and never experienced anything like that.

That won't occur if you put 10-15 p.s.i above the manufacturers recommended pressures into them before you park up for long periods.
My F gets 50PSI in each tyre before I go away on business...I let them back down to normal (37) 6 weeks later, and they are round still, and that's on the fair/crap OEM P0's.
I"m new to P-Zeros, They seem to "sing" quite a bit on different surfaces. By sing, I mean it's like they are playing a tune with different pitches at varying speeds and surfaces....Enough so that I m considering the MPSS. Have other's here with P-Zero's found them to be singy or noisy?
