Default Think these are too big?

I've gotten some wheels that are the correct fitment but was concerned about the size once I sat them next to my stock wheels. Currently, I have 245/45/18 in the front, and 255/45/18 in the back.

My new wheels, however, are a bit bigger. They're 20in and 255/35/20 in the front, and 285/30/20. I have a feeling that the rear won't be an issue, but the fronts will. Any opinions?

Default tires

LK,

They will fit. I currently have some Nankang 255/35/20 on the front of mine. I have to tell you that one side does scrape the wheel well on bumps so I just try and go slow when Im driving bumpy roads.

Yeah that was my main concern. Are there ways to avoid that? How's turning?

Those tyre sizes are the ones used by Jaguar for that size wheel, but it all depends on whether the wheel off-set is the same as the Jaguar wheels.

What offset are they? They look like more than 33mm.

Go for it... those wheels look AWESOME! Definitely post pics when you are done...

Hopefully the offset is within range so the wheels fit properly side to side.

Had them on a 01 XK8 and they would rub the fender lip when turning and hitting a bump. Replaced upper strut pivots and struts, gained 3/4 plus ". solved problem.

Congrats on the wheels, and in my opinion, this is a case of to each their own.

Yes, I think they are too big and look ridiculous. However, who cares what I think. If you like them, its your car, enjoy (I mean that sincerely)!

Best,
dsd

Lossking,
By now you either have or have not been able to mount your new Tires, so this is just a follow up....My 2005 XKR came with BBS Montreal 20" wheels and the staggered sizes are: Front - 9"X 20" (255/35ZR 20) & Rear - 10"X20" (285/30ZR 20) My Fenders are the same as your Fenders so the only thing left to cope with is Offset.......I can't help you there as I don't know your new Wheels Offset nor the BBS Offset........SO! put the darn things on an pray that they don't rub somewhere!
