I believe mine are always red. I turned mine on in the garage parked - red.

Anyone know what bulb they take? Seems like easy access under bumper cover.

Perhaps a super bright LED might not be the best idea back there though. They are pretty bright as is ....

I thought fog lights were always red anyway?
At least here in Oz they are, it's one of our Design Rules.
On the V6 (again at least on the Oz version!) there are two lamps and two separate globes each side, a white one for the reversing light and a red one for the fog light. They are both halogen P21W, I have replaced the two reverse light globes with super bright multi-chip Crees, it was a doddle to do, just reach underneath, grab and twist the bulb holder 1/4 turn, remove the bulb/globe, replace with the new one then refit the holder. Same would apply for the red fog light globes.
However, on V8 models and many (most?) NAS V6 models there is only a single (white) light cover showing on each side, and my workshop manual says quote:

"Note: The 5.0L vehicle has a Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulb in the rear fog lamp. Removal of this lamp unit should only be attempted by a qualified technician. If in doubt, consult a Dealer/Authorised Repairer."

I have no idea how many different LEDs might be in there, what colour they are, and whether or not they colour changes at speed!

The Owner's Handbook has the same info, in the Maintenance section.

Always hated "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR"
I've fitted this to the Driver's side on my F-Type:

Objects in mirror recede quickly under acceleration

Did you buy those somewhere or just use a label machine. Either way, I'm tempted.

Label machine. On my "to do" list is to source the mirror and find a place to professionally print or etch the ledgend. On the very rare occasions that someone else drives my Jaguar and they ask about it I tell them "they come from the factory like that"

noticed on a post in here windows could be wound up down from remote. Would not work on mine even though global window setting were checked in the setup screen.

However after unchecking then rechecking the tick boxes in the set up screen \I can now wind down the drivers window from the remote but I assume the EU safety police have intervened as it is not possible to wind window back up remotely. So if you accidentally wind window down you have to get into the car and start it to get the window back up.

My UK model will lower and raise windows remotely.

From memory press and hold unlock will lower whilst press and hold lock will raise windows

This has been discussed before, but in some markets (eg US and Oz) "global up" was disabled from the get go but it was enabled in other markets (eg UK), and it now seems that for 2017 and 2018 models it is disabled in all markets.
The safety Nannies have invaded everywhere now!

There are many Ebay vinyl options that might look more refined than a label maker.

The SmartTop controller gives me global windows up/down, in addition to roof up/down.

To easily change the clock, just touch it. It goes right to the setting screen. No need to go through the system setup button.

Not unique to the F-Type...my 2003 and 2004.5 X-Types were both on the right side of the vehicle. XK8 is on the left side.

Have never had problems at the stations...almost always a clear shot to a pump.

My friends wife who knows NOTHING about cars taught me a couple years ago to just look at the gas pump dash icon in any modern car.

There will be an arrow/pointer showing which side the gas filler is on - we still laugh about that one. Never knew.

I would much prefer it on the driver's side.

Yeah...for all the money you have to throw at your cars, I'll just keep walking around to the passenger side.

I thought the gas cap on the passenger side on my wife's last caddy SUV was a pain. Now with my F-Type I like it there. Most gas stations in the US now have pump protection bars, usually steel beams that are positioned just at the point that I like to open my door when I pull up to the pump if I am at the driver's side gas door(her new SUV. Be CAREFUL, don't want to nick the door on that steel beam. Not a problem on the Jag. Driver door is outside, gas door is next to the pump/steel beam.

Although, I assume it would be far too much money and wildly unnecessary to try to engineer the car to have the tank on the side of the Yanks? I too will walk to the passenger side, if it means avoiding all of the really chaotic venomous and deadly creatures you hide throughout your country.

THIS!

I love being able to pull up close to the pump and not have to worry about getting out. My XF was driver side. I'll take passenger side on every car for the rest of my life.
