May need to heat the bolt - if it's been red loctite'd in place then that needs to be broken down by heat to aid removal.

If the chain whip doesn't do the trick, you may need to build something like this to hold the pulley in place - I'm assuming the issue is that the gun is spinning the crankshaft and not freeing the bolt?

Bob protected the pulley by using a old belt . Can you use the bumping the starter method and have the breaker bar wedged on the car frame ? Dangerous in my opinion and only works in one direction so you will eventually need the installation tooling with proper very high torque setting .

Other than the fire wrench, the only other method for this type of scenario for me, after radiator removal, would be after spraying the bolt with Liquid Wrench or facsimile there of and letting it sit for a few hours, even overnight. To put the appropriate size impact socket on the bolt and proceed some crushing blows with a 4-5 lb maul if there's room. Then bump the bolt tight and then reverse the gun, perhaps repeating if needed and using motorcarmans wrench.
I have not done this on a Jag motor, so I would ask Bob if this procedure would be applicable here? I'm not sure if it would effect the main journals?
