HELP!!! Whats the size (threads) of the crankshaft bolt. HELP!!!

Whats the size (Thread Pitch/Count and length) of the crankshaft bolt.
and whats the diameter of the end part of the crankshaft (where the pully mounts).
Its for my 1999 XJR.

Maybe pd_regan knows the crankshaft bolt's length and thread size, try sending him a private message.

The Crankshaft Damper bolt is a 16mm X 2.0 and socket to remove is 24mm.

I needed a 'tap' to clean the threads one time so I made one out of an old crank bolt.

If you cannot find a 16 X 2.0 tap or rethread tap then buy a new bolt and make one by cutting slots with a 'cut-off' wheel.

You don't state the reason for your request, but here is some info.
