I am not sure if this is available for the F Type, but I did read something about premium map options that provides this data or something. I miss this from my BMW

The MY18 2.0 4 cylinder model offers "Traffic Sign Recognition and Adaptive Speed Limiter" as an option ($155) which I think is yet to come to the other models in the USA (MY19?).

If you can’t recognize traffic signs on your own, it’s time to hang up the keys.

Its just a convenience feature during misty weather which happens a lot where I live. Plus you sometimes do miss out on those sign where they drop from 65 to 45!! I had it on my BMW and it kind of showed on my heads up display which was very nice because it just helped you monitor things a lot better. Oh well, not a big deal though.

Its not ONLY the traffic sign recognition... It also has a - center console- button that makes it work like a speedlimiter. This because in some EU-countries authorities have gone insane...
You pay a fine based on your -weekly- income when speeding. If you use the button, you are protected from these "highway men" , as robbers were denoted for old..
So if you make 10k a month, you can fill the states coffers with 2500 GBP [USD 3000] for driving 60kMh in a 30kMh zone..

looking at the online configurator for my19

it seems someone at jag heard my criticism of the chintzy faux alu silver trim and made most it all black again - even looks like they've made the seat control panel gloss black again too.....the door handles though would need to swapped out

might be time to take a serious look at a trade in

i always prefer to spec a coloured interior, but not really feeling the red or tan atm, anyone got the red? is it really bright irl or more of a deeper red?

I have the red seats and they are more of a crimson red, a fair bit darker than shown in your pic. But of course the MY2019 red may not be the same as my MY 2015 red (although I suspect it is the same) and your pic may be misleading.
Here's a pic I got from t'internet ages ago showing what my red looks like:

ive never been a fan of red, i especially hate when manufacturers use red highlight trim bits in an interior to show its the sporty model, such a tacky cliche design trend

but i will say the full red i'm starting to like, especially lthe dark red porsche use (everywhere)

been searching for used svr's online to sift through some potential colour combo's, first pic ive seen of the siena tan where it looks really good

i have the ivory in my car, i wish i could tick the ivory option in an svr to replace all that red/tan.....i see svo are offering an extended exterior colour range, wonder if they'd do a custom interior too

Quick side shot of mine, spot the orange calipers and black wheel centres, much better than the red I feel.

I was thinking the same about the black wheel caps on my SVR. Did you also change the red Growler to black on the front grille? I plan to do that as well...

first thing i did was replace all the red badges, they just didn't work on my colour combo

i've been meaning to remove the R badge up front too, but looks like i need to get behind the grille and cbb removing bumper for it - working up courage to carefully dremel it off

The badge is 3M taped to a backing plate, which in turn is bolted to the grille.
You should be able to "pull" the badge off the backing plate without damaging the grill or the backing plate, but probably not without damaging the badge, that tape is really strong stuff.
Here's a schematic of the "S" grille badge, items 14, 16, 17 and 18, the R badge is fitted in the exact same way:
https://www.jaguarlandroverrenoparts...Y2LWdhcw%3D%3D
But of course that will still leave the backing plate, and I s'pose it might be possible to dremel through the plate and the mounting screw to remove it without damaging the grille.

If you get a strong piece of fishline, you can pull it down behind the central part of the emblem. Thats how I remove logo's and letters from my cars...
Then its a tidious job pulling the tape off. But heating it SLIGHTLY with a NOT TOO HOT hotairgun helps.

About 50C should do, hotter doesn't make it easier.. ..you damage the paint and burn your skin..

Heating and dental floss / fishing line work well for removing badges that are stuck flat on the bodywork, but I'm not so sure they will achieve much for removing the grille badge.
The grille badge fits flush in a "recess" on the mounting plate so I suspect it would be very difficult if not impossible to get some floss or fishing line in behind it, and then you still have the problem of how to get the bolted-on backing plate off.

Anyone with an SVR installed a STO N SHO removable license plate holder? I checked their website and it stated: 2018 Jaguar F-Type except SVR (SNS139)???

Thanks!
