I'm still going to ask. The worst they can do is say no.

Anything's worth a shot. Aston Martin has an in house "repair" facility that does manual trans swaps to their products, but i'm sure they make you take delivery first.

Depends on the dealer - they could give you a poke in the eye.

I was on the Jag website this morning building a SVR and am I going crazy or did they do away with the wing? Never mind. Found it in accessories.

I wish they did away with that wing and replaced it with a better one like the GT wing but kept the auto lift functionality.

They did not say no! SVO will build me an SVR with a 6 speed manual. They won't lower the car, but the tranny is a go. I'll be working on a build sheet with the GM at my dealer.

Manual transmission with V8 and AWD? Now that is an interesting development.

The Dark Side of the Force is more powerful (i.e. V8 vs. V6.) Be strong!

I'm guessing the ultimate price tag will keep me strong.

"Lower" as in lower the price or actually lowering the car? Either way congrats!

It's all hypothetical until the pricing comes in.

No change out of normal price + $100,000 I reckon!

But what transmission are they going to put in? Regular 6 speed can't take SVR output. Interesting what the price would be above AT SVR. Maybe you should try to get a group discount going.

I went on Jaguar Canada website to build AT SVR with options I wanted and MSRP is almost double of what I paid for my V6S. While I like the idea of MT SVR, I can think of better ways to blow the cash considering that I already have F-type. C7 Z07 or Lotus Evora 410 or 911 GT3.
