Hi all,thought I'd say hello form the other side. Currently I'm on the XJ40 but while I'm still debating how/what and when I carry on I bought an S-type 3.0l.
Same owner the last 16 years but decided to downsize. Needs some TLC but nothing major. Had a couple of spurious codes for the cam sensors which have been cleared and stayed away....as it's a 2001 model I believe there is a possibility that a software update is required. A small list of jobs,rear window regulator,rear off-side stabiliser bar,headlight re-furb (done) a good clean inside and out (done),two new wipers,revamp the key fob and find the DSC fault.Front bumper and a small scratch on the wing could do with some touching up but overall not bad at all. Fresh petrol and a treatment and the engine and gearbox are sublime.Happy days.

Shoe polished the seats and they came up a treat.
