Ok, on Steves request I've opened an updated thread for the first run of 2018.

Date: Saturday 7th of April.

The route will be:
Meet at the Mill Rose Cottage for coffee in the main street of Ballan at 10.
Then to Dean for a photo then Anderson Mill for another photo oportunity and a look around. Then to the Radio springs hotel for lunch.

Confirmed so far.

Hawken = 2
Yarpos = 2
Jagent = 2
MikeyB10 = 2

There's plenty of seats available at the Pub so let me know if you want to get involved.

Ken

The shed at Dean.

what a relief, I will be able to sleep again

I just had a look at the old thread and I must be having brain fade. I thought it was tacked on to the end of the last run thread, thats why I suggested starting a new one so it had a 2018 title. Seems it did already. Where are my meds?????

Another fantastic day out guys, great to catch up with everyone. Thanks Ken & Linda for organising, enjoyed the route and the pub! Only sorry I had no Jag to add to the pics this time, I did sneak my Jeep into the line up but of course I wouldn't dream of posting the pic! (thanks anyhow Ken for offering your spare leaper for my bonnet!!).

It was a comfort to have a good support / tow vehicle in the convoy Tony.

There are some nice towns in that Goldfields area , lots of picture postcard places and views. I thought that avenue of honour going into Kingston was pretty impressive (and a bit sad when you think what each tree means). I havent seen one that long and so well cared for before.

Yep, the car is middle aged, however the driver has transitioned beyond that (but remains young at heart on a good day)

Yeah, we too were really impressed by the towns/villages and the stunning country. We're going back up that way again soon for another look around - very beautiful region.

Courtesy if the GPS, we ended up on a back road through the hill country around Pyalong, going across the top via Seymour to stay out of Melbourne. With the sun down low , the scenery was amazing and the road very zoomable and vacant :-)
