Any info on the XKR in GA?
Does anyone here know anything about this XKR? I've been in contact with them and am trying to schedule a Jaguar PPI before I'm willing to fly down there...

More photos here, from the dealer's website: https://www.memarautosales.net/mobil...6239420|408868
It looks very nice from the photos, except for the driver's seat that appears to be a little stretched. It appears that the water pump has not been replaced, per the CarFax: https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...WA4EC6CMB46311
This is the highest priced car at this dealer, so I suspect that it was the owner's personal car. PPO is a must!

+1 on that.
Memar Auto appears to be an independant sales company and BBB rates it C+ but I'm not local to Marrietta so really can't speak to that. The one complaint the BBB shows looks pretty bad though. As with all ads, the photos don't really show enough detail to determine what shape it is in. Additionally, it certainly does not have a local history in that it has a front plate bracket and GA doesn't have front plates.

When I bought my first XK8 it was from a dealer who had possessed it for nearly a year. The reason???? He didn't WANT to sell it as he used it for his Saturday Golf Trips and other such stuff and wanted to Be Cool. The price was set quite high for what it was, and had been dropped right before cool weather showed up to a 'sellable' price. I got it a few months later when there was a bit of snow on the ground for a stellar price. A Convertible-in-the Snow price.

Thanks everyone for chiming it (I love this forum and its awesome members!). The car will be taken over for the PPI inspection at Hennessy Jag, and I'm going for the in-depth inspection as opposed to the basic ($340 vs $170 - that piece of mind is worth it to me).
I did ask about the cost to replace the waterpump, and I'd be looking at $1,300-1,400 including replacing the outlet pipe as well - is that a fair price? I'm only concerned since I have to drive it from the Atlanta area up through Delaware.

Per the CarFax, that vehicle was sold at a California auction to the second owner in Georgia on 5/4/15 with 18,240 miles. On 12/8/17, CarFax shows it for sale by that second owner with 36,639 miles. It appears that the dealer drove it for over 18,000 miles.

Spot on about everything Sean. I'm looking for 2012 or better (really like the changes made), and I'm willing to walk away from this (too many unknowns right now with the CEL).
The Jaguar dealer had a typeo on the battery and updated the report ($379, which still seems pretty high to me), for a total of $5,418
I sent the selling dealership an email with the findings, as well as my concerns with the 4 diagnosis that still need to be done (CEL, interior lights, noise in header, and glove box). If the seller is willing to get the repairs done, then I'll fly on down, otherwise, I'll keep loving my 07 XK !

Just putting it into perpective
Actually, it doesn't look all that bad. Atlanta Jaguar is proud of their time! The dash light could be due to the dodgy battery. At that age and mileage, the suspension bushings are frequently (normally) dying anyway. A brake flush is supposed to be done yearly and I'd bet it hasn't. Stop at Pep Boys for wipers, they'll even put them on for about $30. Get a battery ($180) there while you're at it. The dash drop thing has been addressed on the forum several times and is a free fix. A set of front brake pads and brake flush will be around $300 at any indy shop. The noise in the top rail could be entertaining to track down though. Just my thoughts flawed as they may be.
