Rear hub bearings 1985/12
Prepping to rebuild the rear suspension unit, so gathering up the required parts.
Does anyone have the part numbers for the inner and outer tapered bearings and their races? Not the Jaguar part numbers, but the generic ie. Timken numbers etched into the actual bearings/races. I understand that bearing such as these all carry the same numbers, regardless of the actual manufacturer. I'm also looking for similar info for the inner and outer needle bearings for the lower wishbone (fulcrum) arms. I plan to pick these up from my local bearing supply shop. Ian

For the hub (wheel) bearing the numbers are:
Inner: 18520/18590
Outer: 18620/18690
As a note, when I rebuilt a differential a year ago I bought Timkin brand bearings, made in USA and they were out of tolerance, I could not press them onto the carrier hub. I then bought a set of Koyo bearings, 3 parts made in China and one part made in Japan and they fit perfectly, just as the original Made in England Timkins did. So don't necessarily shop for new Timkin bearings only thinking they will be the best for the job.
I don't have a note of the fulcrum shaft and wishbone bearing numbers. Can you take apart your old ones to read the numbers off them?
