Ran across this local dealer ad.

Just over 20k miles. $55k.

Is this a sign of things to come or is the (non-jag) dealer clueless or am I clueless and this is fair?

Nowhere does it mention anything special like “final 50”.

 

I think there are pricing algorithms at play. @ 1 month ago a large number of unsold jags all went up in pricing by over 70%. They were from various dealers across the us. They are still unsold.

Median I'm very good shape value is 35k. 😃

 

Vortex wheels though. But then not even Adaptive Cruise. I'll give 'em $25k if it's in PERFECT shape and all services, WITH a five year warranty.

 

:-) Rule number one, 'asking' is not the same as 'sold for'... but 'value' is an emotional topic... And emotion rarely is practical.

 

Exactly what I was thinking.
I’d go $30k IF it had full service records and was flawless. Would consider trading my 08 for it at a 30k price.
Of course I’d uninstall my Mr12V and move it over.

 

Now here is someone who, like myself, are a salespersons worst nightmare!

 

Along with that, sometimes just for fun I go into a dealer and haggle.

I just noticed the Speed Pack.

 

The louvred hood makes it likely a Final Fifty model. Bid on one on BaT a couple years ago, went for more than $70k (damn dealer that bought it was flipping it for more than $80k).

 

I didn't notice those either. Good catch.

 

Just found the ad, it is a Final Fifty. They don’t say it, but it’s got the text on the ash tray slide cover.

Think a competent shop could wrap those louvres? Can’t see myself owning a black car, needs to be some shade of red…

 

I will say I will always be jealous of those seats. I wish the F-Type ones could be easily retrofitted since they seem much more common.
