Talking Check out my tastefully modified (in a 22 yr old's opinion) VDP!

Hi,

Here is my car:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/album.php?albumid=479

I have had her for 5 years, I love the car but it has cost me serious $$ to keep her. I am planning on keeping her for many more years to come.

Very nice looking, im 23 and love big cars! I think everyone here will agree your upgrades look classy. On VDPs i personally really liked the optional chrome wheels you could get with the color matched center caps to your body color. I always thought they were sharp.

Only thing i didnt like: That you hadnt washed it in weeks the caption said ! lol

haha I def. need to wash my car more often. I really like big cars too. The 7-series, S-class, Audi A8, and XJ are some really nice cars. I even think the newest town cars can look somewhat decent, but I would never buy one. Im prob the only person younger than 99 yrs old that thinks a town car looks decent.

How'd did you get all of your cars at 23?!?! I got my Vanden Plas as a high school grad present and I thought I was special!

great looking car! I wish I had that leg room. You're friends must want you to drive every time you go out.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!!!

I call her Karen because my golden retriever dog named Krissy died a few years ago and I named my car something similar to her name but not the same name. IMO a car cant replace a dog. Also the Jag is a kitty cat and can't have a dog's name!

I haven't done as much as I would like to do but the repairs of this car are hurting my wallet.

I have:
  • removed the VDP pinstripe
  • Jag XJR rims w/ Contiental Contiextremecontact tires
  • exhaust work
  • mesh grill
  • added british flag badge on the grill
  • I plan on putting Xenons in and I will be done with the upgrades
  • 3 coats of different waxes so the car can get rained on day and night and has no water stains at all
