Hello All,

Well after 6 months and 3000 dollars, my 1993 XJ12 is back home!

Here are some things I had repaired:

Brakes are fixed
The oil cooling hoses are rebuilt and replaced
The coolant tank has been replaced
All the leaks are repaired
Both high pressure and low pressure fuel pumps are now operational
Front end alignment was completed
All the tie rod ends are replaced

The car runs down the road now without fear of it dying.......what a fun car to drive!

Now I must save up some more so I can put new tires, new fuel sending unit, a new windshield and a paint job on this machine.

We are progressing........

Some questions,

1) When I got it home there was a cooling fan that continued to run after I shut the car off for a bit then it shut off. Is this normal?

Anyone with insight, please advise.

Perfectly normal - mine run for a minute or two after shutdown on a warm day. No need to worry.

My 94 fan runs after shut off but only a few seconds.

All of your achievements are notable, but the one that really makes me applaud is that all the leaks are repaired!

Truly, that is a major accomplishment!
