Picking back up on one of my projects. I replaced the oil/filter, reconditioned injectors, new spark plugs and wires. New shocks and shock bushings all the way around. Fixed all the vacuum lines and mice eaten wires. I get throttle bog. I didn't replace the cap/rotor yet but wondering if this could be the culprit or something else I need to be looking at? Also noticed it doesn't start well cold, I need to hold the gas pedal till it warms up for about a minute.
Try cleaning the intake plumbing hoses, replace the air filter, clean the throttle body and set butterfly to specs. Then clean and decarbonize the idle control valve and valve body and reset the idle valve. That should do it ...oh -and change the cap and rotor too!

Thanks for the reply! Is there a pic online that I shows the location of the icv as well as procedures in resetting?
It's on top of the intake manifold about 2/3rds of the way back towards the firewall, has an oval plug about an inch or so and the reset procedure is here:
Cleaned the throttle body, replaced the cap and rotor. Air filter is new. Not sure if I broke this hose, but is there a part number or a site to find out? I am assuming the local parts store is not going to carry it.
Id say you have a bit of a vacuum leak there. That hose is available from Barratts or Moss motors. Its not extremely expensive either as i recall, though times have changed....... Definitely check for other leaks too, as that one would mask several others... Good luck!

I used black rtv for now to seal it while I wait on the order. I got a new CL, assuming now that I fixed the leak. I drove it around and same bog, really feels like not enough fuel. I replaced the cap and rotor before my test drive. I'm going to replace the fuel filter and re-test drive. Here is a picture of the CL
