if any UK members in the South wish to make use of my Mongoose and have anything diagnosed or reflashed then I'm willing to assist now that I have the setup fully working and have worked my way around the system a few times.
I'm based near Worthing, or Gatwick and can travel inbetween those locations. Anywhere else and you'd probably need to come to me

Even if its just having a second key reprogrammed I can do this for around £26 including a second hand (4 button flip blade style) key fob and a new key blade cut. A dealer will charge 10x that amount!!!

 

Am i reading this right? £26 ish for a programmed key. Or is it + the cost of the key.

The lights driving me mad, I was going to buy the Mongoose and subscribe to the software for a week, but would love to see it in action first.

Yes you read it right. Thats the cost of a new key blade, a used remote and programming it myself using the Mongoose

 

Buy one from UOBD2.com for a few pounds and do it all yourself. You just need to make sure that:

1) You have Win XP Pro (there is a registry edit that takes seconds that can fool it into thinking it is pro, so does not cost anything)
2) You load the software supplied by the seller in the correct sequence (follow the guides on here)
3) When you connect you say no to all updates and connect without any wifi or internet whatsoever.

It's a 2000 S Type.

Is your generous offer still available? Obviously, I'd come to you. Ideally I'd like a flip key for £26 (again if I'm reading it correctly) and I have the airbag light on and could do with a diagnosis on that. Also, I'm always up for meeting like minded people.
