This is a new show for 2014, held just outside Bristol over 2nd-3rd of August (web-site is South Gloucestershire Show | Lifestyle and Leisure). Had a great week-end: really well-organised considering it was being run for the first time.

Well worth going to and I will book the XKR in for next year on the Jag Enthusiasts Club stand (I promise). I didn't take the XKR as it's looking a bit disreputable at the moment, but instead displayed the Trabi and TGB (ex-Swedish army truck, complete with roof-mounted machine-gun and Swedish flag).

I'm also wondering if this is going ahead next year, perhaps speak with Steve Sheldon andwe'll make sure to get a post out there in plenty of time, try to make it a meet event for forum members?

Will do. I'm disappointed that none of our pictures from the JEC stand were usable as there were some lovely cars on display. I'm sure there are members of this forum who are also connected to the local JEC, so perhaps there will be some other pictures along soon?


We were parked opposite the local Jaguar dealer (Hartwells), hence the pictures of XF and F-types. My daughter was quite taken by the F-type and wondered if we could take one for a test drive...

Hi Aardvark - it looks like it was a great day and some gorgeous photo's taken.. if you would be kind enough to drop me all the details of the event a few months in advance next year I will try to get things kicked off for you and see if I can wrangle anything from the local Jaguar dealer for you ..
