Hi all,

I'm sure this must have come up before but I would appreciate some advice and recommendations.

My 2012 3.0 XF S has had its crank snap at 72k miles. Full service history with main dealers, Jag approved used car 5 weeks out of warranty and booked for service the day after it happened. Jaguar Customer Services offered 20% on a new £13k engine.

Can anyone recomend a good garage who would either do a rebuild or an engine replacement for a vaguely sensible price? A local Jag specialist has quoted £8k which I'm ok with but they say they can't start for 2 weeks and then it will take a month.
