Usually on a Friday I put up the stats on our event so you can see how we are doing, along with attendee stats so you know what models and years of Jaguar you are likely to get to see on the day itself - but last Friday I didn't get the opportunity to do so. I would like to correct that today - so here are the event stats now, and the model/year stats will follow later today.

Please note that the XKCC have just signed up with us meaning you can now meet not just the trade, but also six clubs/forums on the day - making this officially the biggest and most complete event we have ever run. If you haven't signed up yet as an individual, or as a club please do so sooner rather than later to guarantee your free slot.

A massive thankyou goes out to everyone involved with our event - we have an incredible event thanks to everyones involvement :-)

Our event forum threads have received over 17,200 hits
Our new website has had over 3,600 page views
Our event facebook page now has 401 friends
Our Twitter feed has 576 followers
Our Instagram account has 162 followers
We have 64 Jaguars spanning over 60 years of production and 108 people signed up
We have 6 Club/forum stands
We have 7 Trade stands
4 Presentations for you
5 awards and an incredible Prize Draw for you.

And that's it so far - I am hoping to be able to increase the number of awards for the day, and hopefully even more trade and club/forum stands and don't forget we also have the all new Quiz module with the winners photoshot as our 2019 Most Knowledgeable Attendees, and hopefully defending their title in 2020 :-)

Plans are also afoot for our 10th anniversary event, which will be in 2021 - more info to come on that as we approach it :-) It's going to be big is as much as I can say currently :-)

Just a quick update for everyone - Tony Dalton of Anglian Remaps, one of our event sponsors, has just moved to a new company - Delta Performance. He will be continuing his support for our event and will still be onsite to meet you - but now not just offering remaps and carbon cleans for your Jaguar, but also DPF Cleaning and Ghost Imobiliser installations - extending the range of services you can access at our event. A huge thankyou to Tony for his continued sponsorship and support of our event :-)

This is the time of year, with crisp white mornings when we start to think of spring and Jaguar events.

Our event is different to other events, and well worth signing up for.

For starters our event is free to sign up for, and attend - all we need to know is your name, Jaguar model/year and how many people will be in your Jaguar on the day - so free and easy to sign up for.

As we approach the event you will always know what models, and numbers of each model, are signed up that you will likely see on the day, you will even know what years of production will be there.

The event itself is a grassroots event - all our paperwork, maps, voting forms, and general information is all produced in-house with whatever facilities I can lay my hands on, making it a little rustic but all the appropriate paperwork etc is there nonetheless, despite our non existent budget.

The event is not only free, but we also organise discounts at both venues for food/drink to help keep your costs down, along with any discounts we can get for you on must-have products for you and your Jaguar.

We meet at Pease Pottage Services on the day, and on arrival and registration you receive a free Welcome Pack to get you started with all the info you need, samples, pens, pads, etc etc just as you would at a ticketed event.

Then you have a leisurely convoy (some Jags not quite so leisurely :-)) through to the Denbies Wine Estate for the main event seeing gorgeous Sussex and Surrey landscape as you go (and lots of Jags :-))

On arrival at our main venue you get access to trusted Jaguar specialists, clubs, forums and more. Lunchtime you can grab a bite in the Conservatory restaurant at a discounted cost. You will get to attend talks by the professionals learning the tricks of the trade, free advice from specialists, dealership support, awards (including one that you vote for yourself), several Jaguar clubs and forums there to meet and sign up with if you wish, a quiz to test your Jaguar knowledge, and even a prize draw. Noting the prize draw is the event's only revenue stream with tickets at £1 each. You can win any of a number of great Jaguar orientated prizes :-)

The day is a full day from around 8:30am through (subject to the weather etc) arounf 4:30pm making it a packed full one day event for you.

We have features you would often only get at ticketed event.

Because it is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts it is a not for profit event so it is literally free, with just food/drink and prize draw as optional costs.

Our event can be found on Facebook, JaguarForums.com, JagChat.net, JaguarForum.com, Twitter, Instagram and even on its own website, making it easy to keep an eye on, and it is well worth doing so as we run a free Christmas competition for attendees, run discounts through the year that we can obtain for you and will carry reviews on it's website shortly too, making it an all year round event for everyone - and free :-)

So go on, why not give our event a try this year? We even have accomodation arrangements in place for anyone travelling further afield to get to our event.. we have you covered :-)

Signing up sooner rather than later is recommended, to guarantee your free slot - and it would be great to see you there if you can make it.

Ok It's a Friday, January has officially finished, and we have 114 days left until our event :-)

It has been a busy week this week - I have steered clear of paperwork/printing this week (yipee), and have instead concentrated on event promotion and our event layout.

We have some new potential sponsors I am currently in discussions with, and I have started looking at our event layout - which this year will be quite different accommodating more stands, and the block bookings that have been made.

Compared to previous years we are (currently) way ahead on the figures for February, which is fantastic and a very good reason for anyone who hasn't signed up yet, to do so as we have a fantastic free Jaguar day out for you.

If you are worried about travelling some distance to get to our event don't worry - we have made arrangements with the local Holiday Inn Express giving us guaranteed availability of rooms at a fixed price for any attendees needing it.

Currently at our event you can talk to specialists in leather repair, leather protection systems, paint care, valeting, detailing, servicing, maintenance, upgraded and standard parts, imobilisers, DPF cleaning, engine remapping, and even have access to full Jaguar dealership support - you can also meet clubs & forums that specialise in Jaguars, and participate in talks by the Pro's all before a chance at winning one of several awards, becoming a Jaguar quiz champion and then winning an incredible prize in our prize draw. So go on, why not give our free event a try this year?

Here are the stats on where we are so far this Friday, including the list of what models and years of Jaguar we have signed up so far - noting some people have yet to confirm model details so have been excluded from these stats (and my mathamatical skills are always dubious :-))

Our event forum threads have received over 18,100 hits
Our new event website has received over 3700 page views
We have received 2 club/forum block bookings to-date
We have 17 incredible event sponsors
There will be 7 trade stands on site
We have 6 club/forum stands booked
So far we have 3 Presentations (Talks by the Pro's) booked
Our Twitter following has increased to 580 followers
Our Instagram account has 162 followers
Our Facebook page has been becoming more popular and now has 404 friends

Our annual Jaguar event is supported by a range of companies, Jaguar forums, & clubs, including, to name just a few (in no particular order), Simply Performance, SNG Barratt, Haynes Manuals, Robornes, the Leather Repair Company, PVD Approved, Scratchshield, even Harwoods Jaguar.. we offer ticketed event features such as the drive/convoy element, class awards, prizes, a quiz (yes, a quiz :-)), and not just one venue but two, with the largest incredible wine estate in England, Denbies, as our main venue.

You can win awards, prizes, quiz the trade, sign up with clubs and forums, and even attend talks by the Pro's giving you the low down on how to look after your Jaguar even better than you currently do.

Our event is suitable for everyone from petrolheads through to families - we all have a common interest - Jaguars - and we all want a great grassroots event, with features you would normally need to buy tickets for, but with everything (except the food/drink and prize draw entry) free - and that is our event!

Whether you have the latest fully loaded showroom Jaguar, or (like me) struggle to keep an older Jaguar on the road, or you have an incredible cherished classic Jaguar you are equally welcome and you have so much to gain from the specialists at our event, the incredible range of Jaguar owners and of course Jaguars spanning over 60 years of production with every Jaguar having a story to tell.

You can get advice and help on servicing, maintenance, valeting, detailing, leather repairs, leather and paint protection systems, engine remapping, ghost imobilisers, dpf cleaning, spares, upgraded components, even bespoke remodels of Jaguars.. all at our event

Just for arriving and registering on the day you get a free Welcome pack with info, samples, pens, pencils, pads etc - all the things you would expect :-) Stay with us for the day and you will learn things you never knew about your Jaguar, may win an award or prize and will have a great day out with fantastic company and incredible Jaguars.

So go on, if you haven't been to one of our previous events, give us a go - you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Signing up is simple - we just need to know your name/alias, Jaguar model and year and how many travelling and you are signed up - you can email us at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk, message us via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, pop a post on a forum thread or visit our 'Contact Us' page at JaguarForumsUK | Home - it is FREE to do so, and we have a great Jaguar day out for you :-)
Still unsure? Take a look at the 'References' page at the event website JaguarForumsUK | Home and see what people think of us :-)

Curious about our Jaguar event, how it started, what it's aims are, and what you can gain from signing up?

I would love to say me too :-) But in truth I can answer it all..

Our event started with just a simple message on my home forum JaguarForums.com asking if anyone wanted to meet up in the south east.. it was prompted by another member of the forum who suggested I asked around. Suffice to say 6 of us met up on a cold damp December day and it was agreed that maybe another meet might be an idea.

That was the start of the event.. :-) and now, so far this year we have over 110 attendees signed up with three months to go, Jaguars spanning over 60 years of production, club and forum support and presentation, trade sponsors, show prices, talks by specialists, awards, prizes, and even a quiz module.. we have even moved from the open public seafront road at Brighton to our own enclosed grass area at Englands largest wine estate, Denbies.

The aims of the event are primarily to enable anyone from any background or financial situation to have a great Jaguar day out, whilst learning more about their Jaguar from specialists, gaining show prices, discounts and support both from the Jaguar community and the traders that we not only know and trust but offer great value for money.

The event is a not for profit event, depending on the prize draw element to generate enough income to cover it's running costs, and as of last year was finally starting to catch up with it's costs after being funded by myself for a number of years :-)

As for what you can gain.. our event puts you in contact with not just trade specialists we trust, but also clubs and forums, you can ask all and any questions of the specialists onsite, and even attend talks by them on their specialist subjects. You can gain show prices, win class awards, prove your Jaguar knowledge, even (if you pay a small cost for prize draw tickets) win anything from the basics we all need through to a Jaguar experience for yourself. All this in a superb venue with great likeminded company, and Jaguars from all walks of life spanning over 60 years of production. And it doesn't stop there - our event has a website with archive photo's, history, a Christmas competition for great prizes every year, and even product reviews coming soon..plus details of any current discounts we have managed to get for you :-)

Our event is organised by a Jaguar enthusiast, sponsored and supported by Jaguar enthusiasts just for you it's primary aim not to make money just to help you look after your Jaguar and keep your costs low in any way we can..

So go on, why not give us a try - you have nothing to lose and everything we have to gain :-)

Ok it's a Friday and it is time for the usual weekly stats, so you know exactly where we are with things regarding our event.

With the 26th of May now 107 days off, we are actually ahead of schedule - still a lot of things I need to do, but in terms of numbers we are doing very well this year and genuinely have a much, much bigger event for you this year.

I have been working heavily on promoting our event to attendees in the past week, and will continue to prioritise that for another couple of weeks to see if we can get our attendee numbers up further. In the next few weeks I will also hopefully be able to finalise the event layout at our main venue - a little more complicated this year due to the number of stands increasing hugely on last year, and ensuring everyone is as near to what they want as possible.

Once the event layout is finalised I then need to kick off the print runs for our welcome letters, sponsorship and support sheets prior to following up on sponsorship pledges for goody bags, prizes etc.. and we will be getting there (as British Rail said just before UK government disbanded it :-))

If you haven't signed up yet, please do - we have a great free Jaguar day out for you this year - with more of everything for you :-)

Here are the stats on where we are so far - please bear in mind (as always) all stats here are based on the info I have available to me, and subject to my maths and statistical skills, and attendees who have yet to decide on the model/year of Jaguar they will be bringing have been excluded from the figures.

General Stats:

Our events forum threads have received an incredible 19,700 hits
Our new event website has received over 3811 page views
We have 17 incredible sponsors

I was looking through what we have got organised, so far, regarding our May 26th 2019 Jaguar event.

We have 69 Jaguars, 115 attendees, our convoy through Sussex and Surrey countryside, our main venue of Denbies, free Welcome Packs full of info and goodies, specialists covering almost every aspect of your Jaguar, clubs and forums onsite this year to meet you.

We have a great prize draw, class awards including the prestigeous Scratchshield shield and Mark Lambourne's Peoples Choice award, talks by the Pro's, oodles of free specialist advice and even talks by the Pro's teaching you how to look after your Jaguar event better.

Our event info on the day won't be quite as rustic as usual (some actually in colour printing this year :-)), & we have a packed full day for you, your Jaguar and your family.

So why not sign up and join us this year?

This is one of the friendliest Jaguar events around, is free and so easy to sign up for - we just need your name, model and year of Jaguar, and how many people will be coming and that is it! Nothing else to do until the day - just turn up, check in and get your free Welcome Pack to set you up for the day.

You need to preregister as we need to ensure that we have a free slot for you, and our main venue is aware of the numbers but once you have registered you need do no more except have a great day out.
