Quite a bit is on the go with our event currently - We now have not just the 'Walk through the years of Jaguar' but also three allocated club/forum areas, two club/forums stands, and of course all our specialist company stands too for you.

So go on, why not sign your Jaguar up for our great free Jaguar day out this May 26th?

All you need to do is email, post, or dm your name, Jaguar model & year, & how many people travelling and that's it you are signed up.

If you need somewhere to stay the night for the event we have you covered with rooms being reserved at fixed prices specifically for attendees, at Holiday Inn Express Crawley, which is just five minutes away from the starting point of our event.

So go on why not give us a go, and join everyone else at our one day Jaguar event?

If you own a Jaguar and have nothing planned for May 26th, then we have the event for you :-) We are a grassroots event with features you would not expect, and we are FREE! No, honestly our event is genuinely free - well, excluding a few litres of fuel and you do need a Jaguar..

Our event is easy to sign up for too - just email JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk, use the 'Contact Us' page at our website at JaguarForumsUK | Home, post or message us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, or contact us via our threads in the forums.

We still have 76 days until our event, so it is likely there will be more yet to be added but this is what we currently have for you:

Two Venues
Convoy & Main Event Elements
Free Welcome Packs inc samples etc etc
Main event at Denbies - the largest Wine Estate in England
Walk through the years of Jaguar
Three allocated Club areas
Two Club stands
Eleven stands
Nine specialist companies
Full Dealership support on site
Quiz for 'Most Knowledgeable Attendees 2019'
Three Talks by the Pro's
Seven class awards
Prize Draw £1 per ticket

All food/drink at the venues will be discounted as well to help keep what costs you have as low as possible for you.

If you need overnight accomodation, we have set up an exclusive deal for attendees with rooms, at fixed prices, reserved for you just five minutes from the start point.

This is our eighth event to-date - every year is biggesr and better than the year before, and we have a great day for you, your Jaguar, and your family.

Our event is being followed by Jaguar clubs and owners from around Europe and further, with plans to get everyone we can to our 10th anniversary event in 2021 for our biggest event ever.

So go on, why not sign up for our 2019 event, and join our Jaguar day out?

It doesn't end on the day either as we have discounts through the year whenever we can get them, and also run a free Christmas competition for attendees too :-)

Our event is not your typical grassroots Jaguar event - It is the JaguarForumsUK Convoy & Meet Event! So go on, it cost's nothing to sign up for and all we need to know is your name/alias, Jaguar model & year, and how many people and that's it you will be signed up..

If you have got any questions or queries please just get in touch and I will do all I can to sort things for you....

I have adjusted and updated the figures for our event, and with the allocated club areas, and new signups, we now have over 100 Jaguars signed up - our biggest ever event :-)

This means that places are now starting to become limited (if everyone is to have a free Welcome Pack on the day) so please sign up sooner rather than later, to guarantee your slot.

Incredible figures with over 70 days to go before our event :-)

Also, just so you know I am currently working on some new features for our 2020 event - I believe if you enjoy this years event, you will really love next years event - if it all pans out :-)

The news keeps on coming this week - Colin of Bag-World.co has just come forward to say that whilst he will be unable to attend our event himself, he is donating a number of incredible items of luggage from his bespoke collection for our prize draw - an absolutely massive thankyou to him for his support of our event.

Colin had hoped to be able to attend this years event and demonstrate what is involved in making his incredible luggage for Jaguars and other luxury car brands, however has been unable to do so this year. I am however currently trying to persuade him to attend our 2020 event... :-)

Additionally we have just exceeded 100 Jaguars and now have 101 Jaguars signed up :-) As a result we now only have limited slots available so please sign up sooner rather than later to guarantee your place at our 2019 event.

Ok, time to admit to it - my maths is genuinely as bad as I keep telling you - I have just gone back through the numbers for our 2019 event and I got it significantly wrong - we actually have 116 Jaguars signed up so far!! Incredible.. a massive thankyou to everyone who has taken the time to sign up for our 2019 event!

I am in contact with our sponsors to see if they can increase their level of sponsorship, to ensure any new signups can also receive Goody bags on the day.. additionally I am back to my print runs again it would seem over the next few weeks to produce the additional event info, quiz sheets etc etc we now need :-)

Further to being picked up on underutilising the event page on Facebook for our 2019 event I have blown the dust off the LinkedIn account I have for the event - yep you would be amazed at how I can advertise our event almost anywhere :-) Please feel welcome to linking to the profile there under the username JaguarForumsUK - please feel free to link to it there if you want :-)

OK, the news does just keep on coming this week..

SNG Barratt have been kind enough to supply 100 goody bags - meaning some of you will have SNG Barratt bags, some Harwoods bags and some Autoglym bags on the day but all will have a variety of goodies in them for you..

And they have supplied an incredible two £50 gift vouchers for our prize draw on the day..

Should all be with me in a couple of days and my home shrinks just that little bit more as we approach our event :-)

A massive thankyou to them for this.

OK it's Friday (already?) and it's time for your weekly update on where we are with our 2019 event.

This week has been quite a week for us, with a lot going on.The biggest issues have been my maths, and our paperwork if I am honest :-)

We now officially have 116 Jaguars signed up, with over 70 days of potential signups yet to come and this is likely to outstrip my completed print runs of our event paperwork. So over the next week or so I need to get everything topped up from 120 copies to 150.

I have tried making contact with Pease Pottage Services to confirm things with them, but it appears that the Duty Manager there may have changed, so I am currently waiting on a response to a tweet to Moto Services for an updated email contact.

Colin from Bag-World.co has very kindly donated some items from his beautiful bespoke range of luggage for our prize draw, due with me shortly, and SNG Barratt are supplying 100 goody bags for everyone along with an incredible £100 in vouchers for the prize draw - also due with me in the next few days.

Today I need to follow up with last years winner of the Scratchshield Best Turned Out Jag shield, to ensure that they remember to attend this year so they can pass the award to the 2019 winner :-)

Our Facebook account initially stopped accepting posts earlier this week and then eventually started accepting just short posts - I am hoping this is resolved by the time I post this :-)

Our event website visitor figures made it into double figures per day for the first time - incredible.

I will be posting our current stats later on this morning for everyone, as soon as I have had a chance to compile them so please keep an eye on this space.... :-)

A little more news for you this week:

I have made contact with Robin, who won the prestigeous Scratchshield Best Turned Out Jag award last year and he is already booked with us for this year, and happy to present the award to our 2019 winner, passing it on down the line.

Additionally the goody bags and incredible £100 of vouchers arrived this morning from SNG Barratt - huge thanks to them for this I really appreciate their generosity.

On a final note, further to being unable to contact last years contacts at Pease Pottage Services, to confirm our start point I am now trading missed calls and voicemails with their new duty manager - as soon as I have an update on this I will lrt you guys know.

Ok I have managed to make contact with the new duty manager at Pease Pottage Services and we are booked in, and they are happy to supply the usual discount on Costa products :-) We should have the conservatory on the left side of the building for our time there. I will make a note in the calendar though to call them again a week before the event to double check everything is in place for us though.

OK, it's been a really busy weekend for our event with the JEC club area starting to fill with JEC members cars, new signups, and we now have Jaguars spanning not just 50 years of production, or even 60, but 81 years of production! Incredible!

The long range weather forecast is for a mixture of clouds and sun and 20 degrees for the day, which is great news - I will continue monitoring it through to the day though for any changes.

The sticking point for me this weekend has been the free Welcome Packs - where every year to-date everyone has received a pack with a range of goodies that is consistent for everyone, this year we are bigger than the budget some of our incredible event sponsors have set aside for our event.. so this year you will all have the same info as each other, but the selection of goodies such as samples, freebies etc will be varying from pack to pack - I will nonetheless be working hard to keep everything equal in terms of value for everyone.

After working through my stocktake, and tallying what I believe our sponsors wilI be happy to donate for our day in total (yep, a leap in the dark based on six years of our event lol) We are limiting the total of attending Jaguars to 160 - just for this year.. next year we are realistically aiming for 200 Jaguars, prior to our anniversay event in 2021 where I am aiming for 300 Jaguars inc European clubs and forums.

Additionally a raft of ideas have been coming in from attendees, and we should be implementing some of them next year - I am working on how best to implement them currently.

So to summarise, this has been quite a weekend for us, we have had quite a few new signups, and moving around of where attendees will be on the day, I have hiot a few issues with the Welcome Packs this year and you will have a unique selection of goodies in each bag unlike previous years where everyone had the same, there are new features and ideas in the pipeline for 2020, and 2021 is in the planning stages as the biggest event to-date. The only flip side to all this is that we have a limit of 160 Jaguars this year and we are into limited availability already with 69 days still to go.

Ok Guys,

So where are we with our 2019 event just a few days after we last looked?

We signed up a gorgeous 1938 SS100 Jaguar over the weekend, and today we have tracked down a D-Type that may be able to make it, if the work it is currently having done, is done in time :-)

Our JEC club allocation is filling up fast, and I will be chasing the XKEC and F-TypeEC clubs shortly to see if we can list who they have coming.. all giving us a better picture of our event.

I am currently just under halfway through making contact with all our sponsors to follow up on any pledges for our goody bags, and prize draw.

A massive thankyou goes out to everyone for not only putting their Jaguars forward for our event, but also those of you who are managing to locate some of the more exotic or unusual rare Jaguars - you have made a huge difference to our event and the range of Jaguars for attendees to meet.

We already have the largest and most complete event we have ever put together, and we still have 68 days to go :-) Anyone who hasn't signed up yet, please do - our event is free, all you need is your Jaguar and we have a great Jaguar day out for you :-)

Welcome to our Eighth JaguarForumsUK Convoy & Meet event!

This will be our sixth year of running this event, and is genuinely the biggest, most feature packed event we will have ever run.

Our event is a great Jaguar day out for you, your Jaguar, and your family, with a convoy element, as well as main one day event - including:

Free Welcome packs
A range of class awards that your Jaguar could win
Talks on how to look after and maintain your Jaguar
Trade stands with great products & services at show prices, plus free advice.
Clubs and Forums are now participating too.
Trade demonstrations showing you the trade at work
A quiz to test your knowledge of Jaguar history and trivia (spanning 1920 - 2004), finding our most knowledgable attendee
A great prize draw (the largest prize fund to-date) with prizes ranging from must-haves to incredible treats for you or your Jaguar

Add to this a convoy/drive through glorious Sussex and Surrey countryside, a superb venue at Denbies Wine Estate (the largest wine estate in England), great Jaguars spanning all walks of life, incredible company and you have our event. And not just all this, but Denbies have a range of award winning wines you can buy and take home with you, plus a carvery restaurant with great food and drink to keep you going through the day.

So go on, treat yourself and your Jaguar to a great day out. Our event is free to sign up for and attend, with just a small fee for entering the prize draw on the day, making it ideal for you and your family, even if you are on a budget! Please feel free to take a look at our previous events to see what to expect, and what attendees thought of our event - we have a great Jaguar day out for you, and would love to welcome you to our 2019 event :-)
