One of the wing mirrors on my x type is not retracting. As the other one is, I assume its not the fuse, any ideas please

Welcome to the forum and please take the time to visit the new member area to introduce yourself and your car, that way you will get answers to your questions more effectively.

Never assume anything with these car's electrics, check the fuses anyway. However, I would suspect your mirror has been knocked slightly and is out of position.

Fold the one that is working and then manually fold the one that isn't.
Give them both a liberal squirt of WD40 and then try again.
May just do the trick.
