x type 2.0 diesel acceleration

x type 2.0 diesel acceleration
Hi has anyone had the problem with the x type 2.0 diesel accelerating on without touching the pedal it seems to have a mind of its own its OK in idle but when driving when I take my foot of the pedal the car continues to pick up speed .
