Default X Type Window Seal Trim? (

I think it's a fairly common issue on the X-Types (particualrly the older ones like mine), where the window seal/trim on the exterior starts to bubble. Mine have the typical bubbling half-way along on the front windows, but the rears are starting to go as well. I'm interested to change them as I think it will make the car look a lot smarter. Does anyone have any advice where might be best to buy them? I live in Belgium but with the Coronavirus it"s not a big deal as everything nead to be ordered online these days.

I've been quoted a horrendous amount by a Jaguar parts specialist. Alternatively I've found a chrome option (although mine are origianlly black) on eBay:

Has anyone tried these and do they work, as they are an none OEM part?

Many thanks!!

Hi there. I’ve got the exact same problem with my x type. Bothe rear window trims have bubbled up. I bought used ones from EBay. And now am going to spray them Matt black as my existing ones are black. So it’s not difficult to replace. Good luck.
KIND REGARDS,
SB
