Default 2009 XJ Portfolio in Charleston

Hello Lower Atlantic Jaguar Owners. I live in Charleston and have owned a few XJ's from 2004 - 2009 but just got my first 2009 Portfolio. Found it in Houston with 76,000 miles. My regular mechanic has moved on to restoration and wanted to know who is a skilled and honest Jag mechanic in Charleston. Also, the suede headliner is starting to fall badly. Can that suede be re-glued or will I likely need to start from scratch? Who have you guys in Charleston used for upholstery. Thanks and hope to meet some Jaguar enthusiasts in Charleston.

, headliners, etc.

Hi Henry - highly recommend Charleston Import Automotive Stanton Cir N Charleston for repairs. They specialize in British vehicles and has done work for me on the XK8 as well as my XE. Darryl Beech is the owner (also Jag owner) and the shop number is 8435526555.

I'm in the Summerville area and a lot of folks are in the Brirtish Car Club of Charleston as well as the Jaguar Society of SC. Sea Island Cars and Coffee (3rd Saturday every month) at Fresh Fields Village between Kiawah and Seabrook Islands is a great place to meet fellow enthusiasts as well as Mt Pleasant Cars & Coffee in Town Square every Saturday

As for headliner , I would ask Darryl, if he can't offer suggestions he may be able to repair or provide a shop that can

Steve
