Hey Folk,
FYI, I just called the Inn and they don't have a record of room blocks. I left a message for Alvan of the club to let him know. I made a reservation on the Inn's web site. Very reasonable, 110.00
Young lady said they were filling up quick so if you're thinking of going I would book a room. No pre-pay needed and can cancel without penalty by 6:00pm the day beore.

The "Autumn In The Mountains" British Car Club show last weekend was great. We had beautiful weather and some very nice folks in the show along with their British cars. Attached are pictures of the show. That's my 2006 XKR in the background with the "Other Jaguars Class". Geez, I could've used some more company from the XK8-XKR's owners. This is my neighbor's 1933 MG Midget---it actually has a Roots style supercharger driven directly off the crank. He won "best in class" and "best in show"

Very cool tag on a '67 XKE.

Cool color combination on a pair of Lotus Elise's next to us. The red one was owned by a fellow from Greenville, SC who happened to be a fellow alumnus from Clemson. He was an engineer for Michelin in Greenville. We had a great conversation about tires. First thing he noticed on my XKR were the Pilot Sports. I can tell you sitting in his car was like a small fighter jet cockpit---I'll stick with my XKR.

That's me and my bride---yes I know I don't know how she ended up with me. Like I always tell people I'd rather be lucky than smart.

My XKR got 2nd in class at the show. I kinda laughed since I had the latest model Jaguar in the show and probably the second to latest car in the whole show besides the dealer's XKR-S.

Hope you enjoyed the pics and hope to see more of you there next year.
