I'm coming down to the Orlando area more specifically Sanford and was wondering if there is any Jaguar get togethers going on or if anyone wanted to do one maybe the Sat after Thanksgiving. Maybe just get together and show off the Jags and grab lunch or something. If anyone is interested post up and see if we can get something together.

You are in luck. The Orlando Auto Club has it's monthly show in Sanford the week end you will be here. It's Sat the 26th in the "entertainment district" about half a mile East of I-4 on the left. Plan to get there at 9am. You will not be disappointed.

There will be precious few Jags around as we have one hell of a time getting Jag drivers to gather anywhere around here excepting, of course, at the local Jag Club events. I may be there. Look for a nice 05 XJR in slate gray.

Awesome I'll definitly check that out. Wanna maybe put it out there to meet somewhere nearby and drive in so we can park together if anyone else is interested in going to this. That doesnt sound too far from where I'll be at. Have to check out your XJR that was the other choice I was looking at when I got my STR but I decided to go smaller since I was coming from a bigger car and wanted to go a little smaller.

 

Sounds great....If you two guys can catch up and maybe add another Jag or two you could have a Jagmeet, pics the lot, or not.....

I hope a few more get in on this. I'll have my camera for sure. I pm'd Jon79 cause he lives in the Orlando area to meet up with him too. Just wanted to throw it out to all Jag owners and not just the S typers. I know we have more Orlando area members so hopefully we get a nice little gathering going on.

 

 

Boo! I miss Orlando! I wish I could go back to my hometown, as I am sure the weather there is great right now!

 

I can come to the meet, but I can't bring my Jaguar... I'm flying back (car is staying at Jaguar Tulsa over break). I might come in my friend's Camry lol. What time is this shindig? I'll try and put it in my calendar. I am going to the Orlando Auto show on the 26th actually.

 

Tarheelcracker says we should get there by 9. I'm thinking I'll probably get out there around 845. If we can get enough people interested we can maybe meet somewhere close a little earlier then drive in together so we can park next to each other.

 

This is really upsetting. I'm in Orlando now, but I'm going home for Thanksgiving, and won't be back until Sunday after.

 

Sorry I'll miss you but I'll try and post up the next time I go down there. I try to go at least once or twice a year. My grandfather lives down there so I try to visit when I have breaks in school and at least on Thanksgiving. I go back to Michigan where the majority of my family lives for Christmas. This is the first time I thought about posting up to see if anyone wanted to get together. Hopefully more will pop in since its only a week away now.

 

Don't forget boys. Tomorrows the day at "Route 46 Entertainment District" Orlando Automotive Club monthly meeting. Get there at 9am or earlier. Park on the right as you come in about 2 or 3 rows back. That way you get a little shade if I recall.

I'll be there with a sign in the windshield "tarhealcracker". I'm a mature muscular guy, (okay senior citizen) devilishly handsome with a Jag baseball cap.

 

Nice seeing you Chris (Vance 580). As usual, at this event only 2 Jag drivers showed up. One ex Marine and a superannuated old soldier. We can do better someday but we had the best looking Jags there.

 

 

Meant to come by, but I was Jag-less and my friends wanted to go to the Central Fla. auto show... sorry. I do hate to miss Jag meets though. Now I'm out of state again.

 

I ended up going to the Auto Show on Friday. Not that crowded at all. Well here are some pics of the Jaguar section. It was great meeting you too Tarheel. I'll try and put word up again next time I head down there. Jags looked great together and were definitely the best looking cars there.
