Ssince it's been a couple of years since the last post in this thread, does anyone have any updates? Has anyone had their car serviced by either Flow Jaguar in Winston-Salem or Bob Dunn in Greensboro? How about Foerign Accents in Greensboro? Looking for other recommendations, as well. Thanks.
Anybody know any good shops or private mechanics who perform good, honest work in my neck of the woods (near Raleigh or Durham)? Haven't been blown away by the Leith places I've taken it to. Any help/recommendations would be appreciated. I think I need some suspension work.
Foreign Accents is excellent. They do real machanic work there, not just parts replacement. They have all the equipment and epertice. You'll save money too. Privately owned by two brothers for 20+ years.

I don't know the name of the shop, only how to contact him. Call 336-472-7575 Junie will be able to help you out. I will edit this post when i found out the name of the shop. He is located in Thomasville, NC
Bob Dunn was taken over by Flow. Since my car was serviced at Bob Dunn / Flow since new by the prvious owners, I have taken it back for all my repairs.
I have heard also very good things from Foreign Accents.

Foreign Accents is the best in the Triad, Chris, Randy, and Scott are awesome. They do all of the work on my 1990 XJS convertible, including currently installing a Tremec five speed manual kit. Excellent work at a fair cost ;-)
Chris Bechard is terrific. Very knowledgeable about Jags, meticulous in his work and just a super nice guy.
Cheers,
Allan
Knock on wood, I have been able to do my own work so far to include:
- changed out air ride to a strutmaster spring system (they are in roxboro and you will save THOUSANDS)
- fixed glove box (clunked down when opening)
- cleaned out washer reservoir (wipers would not spray but motor was running)
- changed oil
- replaced blower motor control and tested blower motor (fan just stopped blowing one day after many months of making a squealing noise).
All of that since February. Hopefully that will be it for a while.
I guess if I need any additional repairs, I will check on here to see what can be done.

As a new owner in the GSO area, I appreciate the recommendations posted here. Doesn't get better than that. Is Foreign Accents also accomplished in paint restoration/detailing? my 1996 XJS 2+2 doesn't need painting just polishing up. Thanks in advance for your feedback postings.
They don't paint, but likely can give you a good recco since they also are in the car sales business. They don 't do upholstery either but used a local guy to "re-skin" my big cat. Take care of the mechanical stuff, see how it works out, get to know the guys, and then move on to the cosmetic ;-)
