Did anyone ever find a reliable Jag repair shop? If not, anyone want to get together over a couple of beers and strategize on diy projects? I've not wrenched on this car yet.
I've got a SC that needs to come off and I guess I'll be doing it myself.
Sorry for the delay in following up, but I had my XJR serviced at Jaguar of Northlake (https://www.kuhnauto.com/) and was incredibly pleased. The work was excellent and they are a family-run business that is great to work with. Do contact them in advance if you have an older Jag, like mine, since they try to "vet" those to ensure they're not allocating limited availability to basket cases, but otherwise they are a great option in the NW-Georgia area!
The seller of my 2007 XKR referred me to Rocco's European Garage with locations in Marietta and Alpharetta I believe. I'm also trying to nail down a reliable and less expensive option for future repairs and understand that it's crucial that the shop have access to the Jaguar codes.
