I am looking for a mechanic in the north Georgia area. It's good to know someone familiar with Jaguars for any possible future issues.
Thank you.

Did either of you find a mechanic? I'm in Milton and I have a few possible contacts.

Though it doesn't appear so, did anyone get any leads on shops in the Atlanta metro area? Add me to the list of people looking...

I still haven't found anywhere... I need my rear brakes done urgently so will need to pick somewhere or bite the bullet and go to the dealer.

Did anyone ever find a reliable Jag repair shop? If not, anyone want to get together over a couple of beers and strategize on diy projects? I've not wrenched on this car yet.

I've got a SC that needs to come off and I guess I'll be doing it myself.

Sorry for the delay in following up, but I had my XJR serviced at Jaguar of Northlake (https://www.kuhnauto.com/) and was incredibly pleased. The work was excellent and they are a family-run business that is great to work with. Do contact them in advance if you have an older Jag, like mine, since they try to "vet" those to ensure they're not allocating limited availability to basket cases, but otherwise they are a great option in the NW-Georgia area!

Thanks for the heads up, this is too far for me, but looks like a good resource for others.

Still looking for Alpharetta/Milton...

I used Pro Imports to swap out my coolant pipes in the FType. They are located up in Gainesville, GA

Had my rear brakes done on my F-type at Roswell Auto Center on Hwy 9 in Roswell. Half the price of the dealer.

The seller of my 2007 XKR referred me to Rocco's European Garage with locations in Marietta and Alpharetta I believe. I'm also trying to nail down a reliable and less expensive option for future repairs and understand that it's crucial that the shop have access to the Jaguar codes.

For convertible top replacement in the Metro Atlanta area, I recommend Kenny McCombs. See The Convertible Top Man

Here's my XKR
